Paolo Raia

Paolo Raia has served since 2020 as Managing Director of MSC Procurement & Logistics, the global supply chain platform of MSC Cruises. In this role, he oversees sourcing, procurement and logistics across all product categories, supporting the cruise brands and operations worldwide. 

Based in Genoa, Paolo leads a team of more than 160 employees responsible for managing the global supply chain and delivering procurement and logistics services across the organization. Prior to joining MSC, Paolo served as VP Global Strategic Sourcing at Carnival Corporation from 2016 to 2019, with responsibility for global sourcing across all Carnival cruise line brands. 

Earlier in his career, Paolo worked at Accenture plc (2010–2013), where he led and delivered large-scale transformational CRM and sales programmes for Fortune 500 clients. 

An economist by training, Paolo holds an Executive MBA in General Management from the SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan, Italy.
