Laura Vlad

Laura Vlad is a senior executive in the global cruise and ultra-luxury maritime sector, bringing more than 24 years of experience across onboard operations, destination development and corporate leadership. Her career began at sea in Shore Excursions, where she developed a deep understanding of guest experience at its most personal level—insight that continues to inform her strategic approach today.

Relocating to Singapore early in her career with Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services, Laura played an instrumental role in the development of the Asian cruise market, helping to shape infrastructure, cultivate emerging destinations and serve as a key liaison between many of the international cruise lines and regional stakeholders. She later led the global Shore Excursion Product Development, collaborating with cruise brands across the luxury and mass-market spectrum to design differentiated experiences on every continent before moving to North America with the same operator to lead the NA Operations.

Building on this global foundation, Laura went on to spend seven years with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. Initially supporting destination strategy for the Asian market, she then transitioned into a broader leadership role as Senior Director of Onboard Revenue, overseeing a diverse portfolio of commercial initiatives and guest experience touchpoints designed to enhance engagement and drive performance across the fleet.

Today, as part of the founding leadership team at Aman at Sea, Laura is responsible for itinerary creation, port and destination management, onboard revenue strategy including our exclusive Boutiques, and the development of the Aman Spa at Sea. Over the past two years, she has worked alongside a select group of industry experts to shape what is poised to be one of the most distinctive offerings in ultra luxury yachting. In guiding the vision for the Aman Spa, she is helping translate Aman’s deeply rooted wellness philosophy into a maritime setting—creating a sanctuary defined by space, privacy and holistic rituals that restore balance at sea. From destination-rich itineraries to a portfolio of highly curated, private experiences still in development, Laura is helping define journeys that are both culturally immersive and commercially sound—designed to deliver a more meaningful and refined experience at sea.
